About Community Works Project

Community Works Project (CWP) is a consortium of six community-based organizations that delivers job search, skills building and employment barrier removal services toTANF recipientsin Multnomah County. Our services include teaching English as a Second Language.

We provide culturally appropriate services to a wide range of communities and link all participants with relevant community resources.

We work in close collaboration with our funder, the Oregon Department of Human Services.

Please ask your DHS Family Coach to refer you to CWP for assistance.

We are located at the DHS East County Family Service Center and at the DHS Southeast Portland Self-Sufficiency Office. See our locations. We also work closely with the DHS Schools Team in Multnomah County.

While our website is limited in your language, we will offer you free interpretation services if you need it when talking to us.
